Dr. Dominic Chan is the Founder and Chief Consultant of Decisive Consulting Limited. He is also a co-founder and partner of Dark Horse Investment Limited focusing on technology start-ups in Asia. He was formerly a consultant with the global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company advising companies on banking, insurance, pharmaceutical, telecommunication and e-commerce businesses. He was the co-CEO of a Swiss professional staffing firm a-connect (China) Ltd, placing independent professionals on multinational corporation's business consulting projects.
A serial entrepreneur, he has been involved in technology companies in the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) application, integrated communication, mobile device applications, e-commerce solution and e-learning areas. Dominic graduated from University of Cambridge, UK, where he received a Ph.D. in signal processing and communications, a BA (honours) and an MA in electrical and information engineering. He received the Queen's Gold Medal for mathematics, presented by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
At leisure, he loves travelling and together with his wife visited all seven continents.
